Hailing from the cosmopolitan city of Trieste, Italy, Mal di Luna is a gothic rock band that blends classic dark elegance with modern experimentation, a style they describe as “Postmodern Gothic.”

Founded by vocalist and DJ Chris Glenn, alongside guitarist Giovanni Bertossi and drummer Michael Bonanno (with production by Lorenzo Visintin), the band crafts soundscapes that blend gothic noir and digital alienation, exploring the shadows of desire, memory, and the human psyche.

After gaining recognition with early singles and signing to the illustrious German label Dark Dimensions (Alice In…), Mal di Luna released their debut album, The Postmodern Gothic, in October 2025 and was critically acclaimed by pillar magazines of the gothic scene such as Sonic Seducer and Orkus. The album launch was celebrated with a unique, sold-out showcase inside the Neogothic Evangelical Lutheran Church in Trieste, an event that perfectly captured the band’s intense and atmospheric soul.

Fresh from a successful UK Tour, the band has firmly established its international presence, receiving widespread acclaim from critics and industry magazines for both the album and their live shows. Highlights include a prestigious headline slot at Revenant (Whitby Goth Weekend) and performances at major festivals like Dark Malta and Necroscope.

Having shared the stage with genre titans such as Clan of Xymox, Combichrist, Deathstars, Project Pitchfork, Front Line Assembly, Diary of Dreams and many others, Mal di Luna is currently bringing their immersive live experience to stages across Europe.

Kathodizers si formano a Roma nel 2018 come trio (tastiera, basso e batteria) influenzato dalla musica synth e dalle colonne sonore degli anni '80. Dopo tre anni di prove, hanno completato il loro primo album "Roman Cathodic Bible", uscito poi nel 2026.
