𝐙𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐙, born Ojay Morgan in West Palm Beach, Florida is a Jamaican American multidisciplinary rapper, producer, songwriter and performing artist.
His career took off in 2012 when fashion designer 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐬 featured Zebra Katz's track, ‘Ima Read,’ on loop at Paris Fashion Week. The track went viral due to the excitement in the fashion circles, along with a write-up in The New York Times and was released on 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨's imprint for the 𝐌𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 record label and remixed by 𝐀𝐳𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬, 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐨, 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, and 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐬.
The single opened up a path for Morgan to tour widely around Europe, North America and beyond for the next five years. Throughout his whole career, Morgan has performed in a wide array of venues from underground parties to established music festivals and arts institutions. He has also performed alongside 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐳 for their 'Humanz' world tour and opened for artists like 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐲 and 𝐃𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝.
Morgan’s style of music can best be described as genre-defying and his multidisciplinary career as self-made. His character Zebra Katz originally surfaced through his thesis project at the College of Liberal Arts. Making music became an extension of Morgan’s interest in theater and culture studies, identity obsession, and the lively NYC underground arts scene around him.
After relocating to Europe, Morgan has multiplied the influences coming together in ‘Less is Moor’ from hip hop and minimalistic soundscapes to the high-energy club sounds of drum & bass, gabber and techno.
In the years 2012-2019, he has released a total of 21 music videos, cementing his profile as a self-made, self-managed, multidisciplinary artist, thriving despite the lack of backing from a major label or production office.
Morgan’s debut album, ‘Less is Moor’, was released on March 20, 2020 in the middle of the global COVID-19 health crisis, seven years after his debut single and as a culmination of his impressive wealth of experience in defining his craft. Finding inspiration in artists like James Baldwin, Grace Jones, Nina Simone, and Little Richard, the versatile ‘Less is Moor’ was written and produced in Berlin and London. The album features several co-producers (𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐚, Tony Quattro) and guest appearances (𝐒𝐡𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥, S Ruston).
Throughout his career, Morgan has openly spoken out against the "queer rap" genre coined by Pitchfork and other publications used to classify Zebra Katz, and artists like Mykki Blanco and Le1f. While stating that if it weren't for his sexuality, he'd be generally classified as a "rapper," Morgan claims the inherently homophobic genre pigeonholes musicians. Morgan’s style of music is minimalist, futuristic, doomy and left-of-center.

Rama is a multidisciplinary artist and DJ based in Berlin. She also co-founded the independent, Cairo based, music platform '𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐡' in 2019. Rama was able to quickly establish a name for herself in Cairo’s electronic and dance scene playing at underground parties, and hosts a monthly show on 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨. Rama is known to draw from a wide variety of sounds, with no constraints on genres.
